Everyone knows i'm a muppet/henson fan. really, everyone does, ask your mom, she knows it too.
and... one of my favorite, FAVORITE things in existence is Fraggle Rock. it's clever, silly, emotional and full of life lessons presented in a way that both children and adults can enjoy. even now, i love popping in the dvds while i work.
so here's a blast from the past for all you fraggle fans...
and, for anyone interested in the "work in progress" stages... here are the inks!
the originals are all 6" x 6" on smooth bristol, the colors done in photoshop cs3.
i hope you've enjoyed this fraggle-filled post as much as i had drawing the pictures :)

Sidenotes: Have you seen a Muppet Family Christmas (the one at Fozzie's Mom's farmhouse)? If not, FIND IT. TOTALLY worth it. I think it was the last time Henson himself appeared on camera too. It has Sesame Street, the Muppet cast, and the Fraggles all together for Christmas.
Also...when I saw Boondock Saints for the first time a few years back, I was the only one in the room who yelled out when the bartender started swearing, "Oh my god it's Doc!"
Alright, that was less a comment and more a novel...my bad.

Dance your cares away, worry's for another day! Good times...I wish there were more shows like Fraggle Rock around. Puppet related TV shows need to come back!

I love them! I grew up watching the Fwaggles, and now I have the dvds so I get to watch them with my children, woo hoo!!
