my new star wars thingy!

Announced at this year's San Diego Comic Con International...

At the "New Books Based on the Clone Wars" panel, Pablo Hidalgo announced that Star Wars' official website www.starwars.com would have a weekly online comic to lead into each episode of the new Cartoon Network television show Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

There will be four different artists working on the comics--fan favorites Jeff Carlisle, Katie Cook, Grant Gould and Tom Hodges, each bringing their unique styles to the project.

More information will be released in the coming weeks leading up to the October debut of the comic and television show.

Katie Cook (katiecandraw.com) has done licensed art for Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Heroes, Lord of the Rings, and other nerdy things. She often dreams of being a Wookiee, which explains why she could use a haircut.

so today, ryan and i got ourselves another mazda to match his purple mazda3 wagon (which we loooove):

don't let the 3rd row of seats, sliding back doors and van-like shape fool you! it's a wagon.
...call it a mini-van... and i'll punch you right in the mouth. i don't drive no mini van.

Lorne is 30!

I'd be an awful person if I didn't tell everyone that today's is the 30th birthday of one of my favorite people ever... my brother! He's one of the funniest, smartest people I know... and a lot of my current personality is his fault. Blame him.

Lorne, you're aces. I hope your birthday is awesome and that turning 30 isn't depressing. i'll catch up in a few years :-P
