i've prepared a little new years treat for everyone that follows my art!
i can't say *what* this was for exactly (yet), but i can post the art for this one.... and i've been dying to show it off :P with all the hullabaloo going on right now, it's slipped my mind to post it. 

i think it's a GREAT example of a breakdown of my process (which a lot of people have asked about)... from simple thumbnails, to pencils, to clean-up, to inks, to paints.... i thought everyone would get a kick out of it. mostly because i never end up scanning so many steps to something.

so on thursdays, i am privileged enough to draw with some of the most talented, nicest, funniest people i've ever had the pleasure of not annoying them enough for them to tell me to get lost.... and i love 'em all and consider them in the highest ranks of my friends for their total awesomeness. one of the people in that group is the one n' only mr. david petersen! david is the creator of "mouse guard"... one of the best comics to hit the scene in a long time, so it's an honor... to have him draw ipod. ;) seriously david, you have no idea how perfect this is and how mushy and awkward i almost became when you gave it to me. i had to reign it in.

	the new Star Wars the Clone Wars comic is up!  check out "Dreams of General Grievous"... Tom, Grant, Jeff and I all did a splash page of grievous during one stage of his life. mine was pre-cyborg... neat! pablo wrote it n' every one of the guys did an AWESOME job this week!
