so my new weekly webcomic is starting. yay! took me long enough, didn't it? well, no more empty promises and broken hearts... it's here!
gronk is an all-ages, cute little story about a monster who finds a new home with a gal and her pets. i have a story i want to tell and i'm really excited and terrified to finally start telling it.

I hope you like the classic fraggle character convincing john! :) (he's one of jim henson's 2 reoccurring characters. i was thrilled to draw him in any official capacity!)

you may think you love getting mini paintings from me at a convention... but you've got nothing on these boys.
i found out at C2E2 that two guys have taken katie mini-painting/kitty love to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
they both got me to do a painting of their cats at wizard world chicago last summer and now, both of them have since had those mini-paintings permanently etched on their forearms.
1) that's awesome.
2)the fact that they are guys with kitty tattoos endear them to me forever.
ipod digs boxes... and not much else (well, except for me. me and boxes... and bacon. everything else, she hates.)

here are my cards for the rittenhouse marvel 70th anniversary trading card set!
because i'm being SUPER lazy tonight, i haven' cropped these like i normally do. you get to see them how i get them, with about 1" extra space all the way around before they are trimmed to the regulation 2.5" x 3.5" size by the company before being inserted into packs :)
i know some of the most adorable people on the planet... topping the list of adorable as far as couples go, mat and amanda jean (aj!) are pretty much at the top of that list. i was THRILLED when matt asked me to do an alice and wonderland piece for aj's b-day (which is today, happy birthday!) and this is the result:
it's 11x14, markers, paints & colored pencils on bristol.
that pattern in the background is a piece of scrapbook paper. that means... i hand cut every element out after i drew and colored it and mounted it to the paper. MY EXACTO SKILLS KNOW NO BOUNDS!
this didn't sell at super show! (i'm as shocked as you are)...
so someone else can buy it ;) here you go! it's 12" x 12". it'll be a fine addition to someone's art collection!
