a sketch of the hunger game's katniss from my sketchbook. i am a BIG fan of the first book, so i was drawing this gearing up to see the movie! ...a movie which i ended up not loving. (it felt like a limp version of a very intense book. i just felt very "meh" about the movie... which is disappointing. i wanted to like it more than i did) : (
ryan pointed out after i started inking that the reference i used to hole a bow was a lefty! so i guess in my world, katniss is a lefty. whoops!
very cool. my daughter is huge fan of the books so we went to the midnight show and then again after she got out of school. lol. I didn't read em so it's hard for me to say, but they seemed to attempt to convey intense parts with the first person stuff, shaky cam, and drop of score. Anyways still super awesome sketch. probably grab 2 of your sketchs books now. 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. I know i'll have some hunger gamers on my mini paintings list. :)

Nice drawing! I'm taking the liberty to tell you that the arrow should be on the other side of the bow, for future masterpieces.
